I am a builder, how do I select lights for my home?
Simply set up a visit to our Orlando office and we will review plans with you to determine how many lights are required. You can then select from many different quality lighting manufacturers.
How long does it take to get the light fixtures after I place my order?
We need about 7 to 10 business days to receive the light fixtures from the manufacturer. In most cases, the lights can be dropped shipped directly from the manufacturer to you. Otherwise, you can pick them up at our Orlando warehouse. Delivery to your Central Florida / Orlando job site can be arranged for a small fee. Do you work with interior designers?
Yes, our new facility in Orlando has a "virtual showroom" that can display any light fixture available from a manufacturer. Relax on our sofas and make choosing home lighting an exhilarating experience.
I ordered a light fixture through your online store, what is your return policy?
Any defective, damaged or incorrect lighting or ceiling fan product can be sent back with no return shipping fee for a 100% refund. Please notify us within 2 weeks of delivery for any returns. Returns for any other reason may incur a 25% restocking fee and you would be responsible for return shipping charges. Refunds can only be given for product that has not been altered in any way after delivery. Please return all items in the original packing material. Do you carry "green" lighting & ceiling fan products?
Yes, we have many styles available in the ENERGY STAR® line with more coming to the market constantly. Shop online at our website to shop for energy efficient products.
What is Energy Star?
Energy Star is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) that helps us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. Lights that last longer and use less energy help reduce greenhouse emissions and save money in the process. Many of the products that we carry are manufactured by companies that are Energy Star Partners and are committed to protecting our environment for future generations.
Do light bulbs come with the light fixtures I order?
Bulbs (or as we say in the biz, lamps) are typically not included with the lighting fixture, except for Energy Star fixtures that include lamps. It is usually most cost effective to purchase lamps from a store in your area. We do not sell lamps (light bulbs) other than those available from the manufacturer on our online store.
What is the warranty on lights I have purchased?
The lighting or ceiling fan fixtures are covered by the manufacturers warranty period, which is usually 1 year from date of purchase. However, please call the product manufacturer directly as the warranty period may be different, depending on what you purchased. (For instance, some ceiling fans come with a limited lifetime warranty.)
